BGU CIRCULAR ECONOMY SYMPOSIUM
December 25, 2024
About the Symposium
A transition from linear to circular business models has been put forward as a means to reduce the environmental burdens associated with modern production and consumption systems, while maintaining economic growth.
In this symposium we will examine the potential environmental impacts of circular economy approaches. Adopting a systems approach, sessions will focus on infrastructure and sustainability in urban environments.
This intimate, one day, symposium will bring together the leading scholars, policy makers and advocates working on circular economy and urbanization issues. It is intended for researchers, policy makers, and students interested in gaining a better understanding of circular economy concepts, business models and applications.
The symposium is supported by the Goldman Sonnenfeldt School of Sustainability and Climate Change, the BGU green campus initiative, and the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management.
